Registration Starts Oct. 4, 2007 to Nov. 1, 2004 YMCA Youth Basketball, in its 40th year, is a 16 week program designed to instruct the basic fundamental of basketball; to develop individual skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting within a team atmosphere; to learn and display the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility through good sportsmanship, teamwork, fair play and showing the proper respect for all officials, coaches and other volunteers. This is a competitive co-ed league with emphasis on team play and fundamentals. There are three divisions which promote proper instruction for each age group. One game and practice scheduled per week for Pee Wee and Junior division. 2007 Draft Day Information complete info here

Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Announces it’s 14th Season of Youth Field Hockey The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is pleased to announce that registration for the 2007 Field Hockey program begins September 5th. All registrations will be at the YMCA at 62 Turner Street in Auburn. The program runs from September 15th – October 20th (six weeks) and will be held on Saturday mornings at a location TBA. The program has three divisions: Pee Wees: Grades 1 & 2 (instructional only), Junior: grades 3 & 4, and Intermediate: grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. Participants will receive the fundamentals of field hockey through a combination of skills, drills, and scrimmages. Players need to provide their own stick, shinguards, and mouthpiece. All participants will receive a YMCA Field Hockey T-shirt upon registration.
