The Yoga Room

Our yoga room is a peaceful, quiet and serene setting to experience the benefits of our yoga program. Yoga is a practice of energy giving exercises that will strengthen your spirit, mind and body Yoga not only improves flexibility, strength, posture and balance but can also relieve stress and sharpen your internal focus.
 
Along with our traditional Yoga and Power Yoga classes we also offer Yoga workshops. Please check here monthly for upcoming workshops and clinics

Exercise Schedule & Class Descriptions

 

Combined our instructors have over 100 years of teaching experience. Along with CPR and First Aid certifications our team of exercise and yoga instructors are certified through the YMCA and other organizations. Instructors take part in numerous health and fitness workshops keeping them up to date on current information and trends.

Wellness Coordinator

Tish, who has been at the YMCA since 1986, is a Registered Nurse, Cardiac Rehab Nurse Specialist, Exercise Specialist and is certified in Polarity Therapy Bodywork, is a certified Yoga instructor, a certified Pilates instructor and a certified Group Power instructor. She coordinates the Wellness and Nutritional Programs at the YMCA. Tish continues to train with Yoga and Pilates teachers of varying traditional disciplines.
