Sharon Bergeron: Sharon began teaching aerobics in 1985. At the same time she realized, while aerobics helps to keep our bodies slim and our hearts healthy, our bodies also require resistance training. Sharon has been lifting weights for 20 years. Over the years, she has trained and worked with many women and men to help them achieve their goals. Throughout her career she has attended many workshops including YMCA Personal Training, classes by Ginn Miller, and Douglas Brooks. Sharon is certified through Fitour as a Personal Trainer. Sharon lives in Hebron with her husband, Jean. She enjoys hiking, walking, running, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and vacationing in Canada. |
| Jean “John” Bergeron: An avid outdoorsmen and small business owner, Jean believes fitness is an essential tool for success and happiness. A 1977 graduate of St. Dominic RHS, Jean earned a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Maine in 1981. Jean has been employed by the YMCA as a Group Exercise Instructor since 1990. He maintains a Personal Trainer certification through Fitour and routinely attends fitness related workshops and seminars. Jean trains regularly at the Y, at his home gym, and in the woods of Northern New England. Jean and his lovely wife, Sharon, who is also a Personal Trainer and YMCA Exercise Instructor, live in Hebron in the foothills of western Maine. | ![]() |
