ADULT LAP SWIM
Pool Time is dedicated to lap swimming in lanes for exercise
This is a great form of exercise to help build a healthy spirit,
mind and body.
TIMES:
Mon. - Fri. 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Mon. - Fri. 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Mon. & Wed. 7:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. till 6/21/08
Cost: Free with all inclusive membership. Non-members $8
WATER AEROBICS
A great lower impact cardiovascular workout for people of all
ages. This program includes body movements and a SPEEDO Wet Step
to help increase your heart rate to the proper level for strengthening
heart, lungs, and circulatory system; as well as toning up your
muscles and burning calories.
TIMES:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
Tuesday & Thursday 7:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Cost: $20 social membership plus $65 program fee or Free with
all-inclusive membership
ADULT SWIM LESSONS
This program is designed to teach adults at all swimming abilities
to improve techniques and confidence.
TIMES:
Wednesday 6:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 social membership + $50.00 (8 week session).
FAMILY
OPEN SWIM
Come in to enjoy some quality time with your family by enjoying
a dip in our heated pool.
TIMES:
Friday 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Cost: Free to all members - Non-members $3 per person or $8 per family
YOUTH POOL SCHEDULE

PARENT & TOT
(6-18
months)
Parent & Tot is a 30 minute class designed to introduce infants to the water.
A parent is required to participate in the class with the child.

WATER BABIES
(18-24 months)
This 15 minute class caters to
the timid new swimmer and has a one to one child/instructor ratio

TINY TOTS SWIM LESSONS
(Ages 2-5 years)
Tiny Tots is a learn to swim program for children ages 2 - 5.
Pauline Bourgoin has been teaching swimming lessons here at the
YMCA for over 50 years. She and her staff have lots of fun teaching
our young ones to swim and feel safe around water.
TIMES: classes are 30 minutes

This program is designed to improve children's swimming skills,
teach new skills, work on endurance and stroke techniques, as well as survival skills.
Children will be placed in a class based on their swimming level. Classes are
45 minutes long.

TWIN CITIES SWIM
TEAM
The Twin City
Swim Team is a YMCA competitive swim program designed to instill our “Y”
core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The program
is open to boys and girls ages 6-18. (Must be able to swim the length of
the pool.) This program is designed to improve swimming technique by
teaching the fundamentals of the four basic swim strokes as well as
teaching swimmers to set goals, work as an individual and also as part of
a team.
Swim team abilities
range from those representing the team at regional and national meets and
those just graduating from swim lessons. The season runs from October into
March. Practices are held weekdays at both the YMCA and the YWCA. Swimmers
are slotted according to their ability (A, B, C, D). Swim meets are held
on the weekends.
