TWIN CITIES SWIM TEAM

 
The Twin City Swim Team, Sea Lions, is a co-ed YMCA/YWCA competitive swim program designed to instill our “Y” core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The program is open to boys and girls ages 6-18. (Must be able to swim the length of the pool.) This program is designed to improve swimming technique by teaching the fundamentals of the four basic swim strokes as well as teaching swimmers to set goals, work as an individual and also as part of a team.

 Swim team abilities range from those representing the team at regional and national meets and those just graduating from swim lessons. The season runs from October into March. Practices are held weekdays at both the YMCA and the YWCA. Swimmers are slotted according to their ability (A, B, C, D). Swim meets are held on the weekends.
