2008 will usher in a new collaboration among three premier 5k Road races in the greater Lewiston-Auburn area!

Through a partnership of the YMCA, the Fletcher Foundation, and LA Trails (a program of the Androscoggin Land Trust), the First Annual Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series will begin this year.
The Triple Crown is a series of 5K races that will take place
through the · The YMCA Fit Fest will take place on June 14th in downtown Lewiston-Auburn with a start at Auburn’s own Festival Plaza. See the Fit Fest 5K/Fun Run Map · Emily’s Run, set to occur on July 26th starts and ends at Edward Little High School in Auburn after winding through a suburban course. · The LA Trails Bridge Run will occur on August 24th.with a start and end in downtown New Auburn after winding through the riverside trails of downtown L-A. |

Auburn Firefighters Fun Run
will be held at Festival Plaza, Auburn
| The start and finish of the YMCA Fit Fest race is at
Festival Plaza in Auburn, at the corner of Court and Main Streets. Course description: The road race begins at the corner of Court and Main Street. The course is flat and fast! Participants will run in both Auburn and Lewiston, over two bridges and along the Riverwalk. See the Fit Fest 5K/Fun Run Map Beneficiary: As an "Activate America" YMCA, the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is committed to supporting kids, teens, adults, and families of Androscoggin County in their journey to create and sustain a healthy lifestyle. We are committed to being an integral part of our community's efforts to make long-asting chnages thaty support healthy living. The scholarship money raised will help children attend camp Connor, the YMCA summer camp program, as well as participate in other programs. USATF certified course #ME03004RF |

Triple Crown (covers all three
runs) $50 ($40 pre-registration before June 7)
YMCA Fit Fest $18 ($15 pre-registration before June 7th)
Emily's Run $18 ($15 pre-registration before July 19th)
L-A Trails Bridge Run $18 ($15 pre-registration before July 19th)
Donations of any amount would also certainly be appreciated!
